Tech News Network - "Your Trusted Source in Tech"

Tech News Network is a technology news satire concept to be piloted as a web series. The mission is to offer compelling views on the biases of tech development and question the agendas of tech companies by stretching the reality (by just a bit). Tech News Network will challenge viewers' media literacy and understanding of the limits and risks of modern technology. The pilot production will consist of three independent news stories.

Tech News Network is a Finnish/US indie short film. The principal photography was carried out in Los Angeles in July 2019. The final product is in two different formats: 1) 9 minute short film distributed to international festival circuit, 2) three 2-3 minute fake news videos distributed as a web series.

Since its limited release due to Covid-19 in May 2020 Tech News Network short film has gained visibility and awards in international film festivals including New York Movie Awards, Indie Short Fest, Hollywood Gold Awards, One-Reeler Short Film Competition, Lift-Off Global Network, Los Angeles Film Awards, Independent Short Awards, Jelly Film Festival (more information and laurels on the TNN home page).
